Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and the environmental assessment and consulting services provided by The Coherent Home, operated by Ramsay Mead (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using this website, requesting our free guide or booking a service, you agree to these terms.
1. Our services
We measure environmental factors in homes and workplaces, including wireless (radio-frequency) signals, magnetic fields, electric fields, dirty electricity, indoor air and moisture. We explain what the readings mean and recommend practical changes. Our services include the Bedroom Reset, Home Recalibration, Pre-purchase Assessment and Healthy Home Design. What each booking includes is described in your quote or booking confirmation.
2. Not medical advice
Our work is environmental measurement, not medical diagnosis or treatment. Nothing we say, write or measure is medical advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from your doctor or another qualified health professional. Never ignore professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of anything in our reports, emails or website.
3. Bookings, fees and payment
Prices on this website are starting prices. Your final fee depends on the size of the home and the scope of work, and we will confirm it before your appointment. Payment is due as stated in your quote or booking confirmation. Larger homes and estates are quoted after the first call.
4. Cancellations and rescheduling
Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged as set out in your booking confirmation. If we need to reschedule, we will contact you as early as possible to offer another time.
5. Access and safety
You agree to give us safe, reasonable access to the areas being assessed and to tell us about any hazards in advance. We observe and measure only: we do not open electrical panels beyond normal observation, move heavy furniture, or carry out electrical or construction work.
6. Measurements and reports
Readings reflect conditions at the time and place they were taken. Levels can change with the time of day, device use, neighbors and other factors outside our control. Our assessment categories follow the Building Biology guidance (SBM-2015) for sleeping areas, which is precautionary guidance rather than a legal or medical standard. We do not guarantee any particular health, sleep or property outcome from following our recommendations.
7. Recommendations and third-party work
Some recommendations involve electrical, building or remediation work. That work must be carried out by appropriately licensed professionals, who are responsible for their own work. If we refer you to a professional, such as a trusted electrician, the referral is offered for convenience, and we are not responsible for their services.
8. Free guide and website content
The free guide and the content on this website are general information. They are provided “as is”, and although we aim to keep them accurate and up to date, we make no warranties that they are complete or suitable for your situation.
9. Intellectual property
This website, the free guide, our reports and all text, images and designs on them belong to The Coherent Home or its licensors. You may use your report and the guide for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, sell or republish them without our written permission.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from this website or our services, and our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the fee you paid for that service. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Emails and your privacy
If you sign up for our emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law requires otherwise.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with its “Last updated” date, applies to bookings made after it is posted.
